Building A Base!
Posted by Marquese Watson on
Is your foundation sinking into fine lines, wrinkles and pores makes my skin look rough and aged. If yes we need to work on build you a strong base. I'm a firm believer in starting from the bottom to create a flawless complexion, and it all begins with smoothing and pore-filling makeup primers like Velvet Foundation Primer, Underglow for the face and Eyeshadow Base for the eyes. These pore-filling primers give you a flawless complexion immediately! Not to mention these smoothing and blurring primers can be worn alone for a blurred appearance. It only takes a couple of seconds to apply, these primers and they are pretty much the ultimate five-minute makeup product.
HOW DOES IT WORK:
Your skin has pores (kind of like holes) and wrinkles (kind of like cracks), and our goal is to hide it all but imagine you are painting a wall with a bunch of holes and cracks you would prime first to create a smooth surface well that is exactly what a primer does. Check the diagram below! When you apply just foundation the foundation, sinks into pores and wrinkles creating an uneven canvas but by using a primer, it will fill in those pores and lines forming a smooth surface once you have your flat surface then it's time to paint!
